Providing services mainly through long term framework agreements and sealed tender opportunities, Calibre works with Cardiff County Borough Council, Caerphilly County Borough Council, Vale of Glamorgan, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Methyr Tydfil County Borough Council and Bridgend County Borough Council.
Accredited for BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management and BS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management, as well as accreditation to ISO 45001, the company has a workforce fully qualified to the highest standards – with the skills and experience to deliver.

Calibre Contracting is accredited with CHAS, the UK’s leading provider of compliance and risk management solutions, is a SSIP certificated SMAS worksafe contractor and also a member of Constructionline.
Additionally, the business is part of the voluntary Prompt Payment Code – a code of practice administered by the Office of Small Business Commissioner – and Calibre also supports the Living Wage Foundation.
As well as its sponsorship of rising motorsport star Ella Lloyd, Calibre also backs a range of local sports clubs in South Wales as the business seeks to support local communities, truly giving back and helping youngsters thrive.
Alongside support of Taff Wells Rugby, Calibre has also provided free labour and materials for the Snow Sport Ski and Snowboard Centre in Cardiff and delivered a resurfaced netball court and new climbing wall for Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Pont Sion Norton, a school near Cilfynydd.
